After a decently long day of travels, I find myself in Estelí, Nicaragua. I'll be here for a couple of nights, then it's off to Lagartillo- where I'll be living for my three months here. It's bewildering for certain, however, I have a great feeling about my time here. The Spanish language is hitting me in the face, but so far I can retain about 40 percent of it. It's like when someone throws handfuls of bouncy balls at you and you can only catch a few (this happens on a regular basis, right?).
Considering I've been in the country for five hours, I have nothing else to say. I am safe, content, and slightly uncomfortable. Rice and beans for dinner. Love to all, more to come.
